i really like vocaloid. its all i listen to.








what is it?

if you dont know, vocaloid is a software made by yamaha. if youve heard of miku, youve heard of vocaloid.
vocaloid is a software for making voicebanks (large collections of audio samples of someones voice) sing, or talk, of you can be bothered to.
most vocaloid voicebanks have their own characters, like miku, for example. nothing is canon for most vocaloid voicebanks. you can make you own
character for any voicebank. just because the voicebank youre using is called kagamine rin doesnt mean that is the character singing.
VOCALOID IS NOT AI!!! a lot of people dont like when you say that it is, because its not true, and sort of belittling the effort people put
into tuning. there are similar softwares like cevio or synthv, that you can use AI tuning on, but that doesnt make everything AI.

why do i like it?

i like vocaloid because it's cool, and i like the songs and a lot of producers. some of my favourite producers are
DECO*27, Sasuke Haraguchi, ime44, 32ki and iyowa (HEAT ABNORMAL EAEFIUIUAEFBP). i have a small collection of figures (specifically miku)
on a shelf, a bunch of little posters of album art, and a calendar with fanart (i think) on it. i found vocaloid from project sekai (yes ik
ewwww newgen whatever) and really like it. i play project diva to, but im really bad at it and dont play it as much. i have mega mix+ on my pc
and it was 32 pounds or something when i got it, and is now oh my god its 13 pounds. i feel scammed. anyway its on sale as of writing this so if you want it,
try and get it before 20 march 2025. i still feel scammed.
